non-profit organization and your contributions are tax deductible
to the extent of the law. We also accept in-kind donations
of goods and services related to facilities, operations, or
services.

Friends of the Clinic
Friends of the Clinic was established in 2003 to assist with fundraising and increasing community awareness of the Clinic and its programs. By becoming involved, you can help the Clinic continue to be the best place to get care and the best place to give
care to those in need.
 There are 3 levels of Friends membership:
- Active—$100/year
- Supporting—$250/year
- Lifetime—$1,000 one time donation

Donate Stock
Many donors choose to make gifts to non-profit organizations using long-term appreciated stocks and mutual funds due to the attractive tax advantages associated with such gifts.
The benefits available to you when making a contribution of stock or mutual funds may include:
- Avoiding federal and state tax on the capital gain.
- Receiving an income tax deduction for the full market value of your gift if you itemize deductions on your tax return and have held the assets one year or longer.
- Making a larger gift at a lower original cost to you.
Before you make a gift of appreciated securities, however, you should consult your financial planner or tax advisor to determine how the potential tax advantages described here apply to your specific situation.

In-Kind Donations
Laguna Beach Community Clinic is also happy
to accept donation of the goods and services we need in order
to operate. When you donate such items to Laguna Beach Community
Clinic, you may deduct the fair market value of the item as
a donation to a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. If you
would like to help us out by making an in-kind donation, please
contact Marce Boyne at (949) 494--0761 Ext. 131.
Opportunities for Support — Our Wish List
Here's what your donations could do for the clinic.
$500 – Would buy a new desk for our RN Clinical Director
$1,000 – Would buy 50 copies of “The Feeling Good Handbook” to help our patients with Depression
$5,000 – Would buy pharmaceuticals to supplement our Diabetic program for one month
$10,000 – Would pay our utility bills for one year
$30,000 – Would pay the salary and benefits of a medical assistant or operations support person for one year
$50,000 – Would sponsor and name an exam room
$60,000 – Would allow us to hire a much needed Health Educator for one year
$100,000 – Would sponsor and name our education/conference room
$150,000 – Would pay the salary and benefits of a Family Physician for one year
$1,000,000 – Would purchase and name a suite of offices now for sale in the building next door, allowing us to move administrative offices and converting the current Admin space to three additional exam rooms and a nurses’ station
$2,000,000 – Would create an endowment to support a Family Physician position
$10,000,000 – Would create an endowment to maintain and support our clinic and name our building
