A benefit for Laguna Beach Community Clinic’s
10th Annual Women’s Health Day

part with to benefit local women?
Then, this is your event!
Laguna Beach Community Clinic is organizing a sale of “gently-loved” handbags to benefit our 11th Annual Women’s Health Day at Main Beach in Laguna on May 19. We anticipate serving over 650 local women at Women’s Health Day, providing free health screenings for diabetes, anemia, high blood pressure, cholesterol and osteoporosis.

For every purse you donate to the event, you will receive one raffle ticket for new or vintage, high-end handbags. Additional tickets will be available for a donation to the Clinic

How do I donate purses?
Call Jaime at the Clinic at 949.494.0761 x 134 to arrange for drop-off or we can pick them up.
Donation station also at Mary Kate Saunders Physical Therapy, 1285 Glenneyre (at Cress) Mon., Wed., Thurs. from 8 - 6, Tue. & Fri., 8 - 1
Can I bring purses the day of the event to include in the sale?
Definitely NOT. All purses will be pre-screened for quality and wear and pre-priced by an expert purse evaluator.
Is there a deadline for purse donation?
Yes, we’d like to have all purses by Thursday, May 3.
Will I get a tax-deduction form when I donate purses?
Yes. You will receive a form that you will complete indicating the number of purses donated and your valuation of the donation.
What kind of purses are you looking for?
A variety of styles and colors from fancy evening clutch purses to daytime shoulder bags. They need to be in good condition. Designer
bags are especially appreciated and vintage designer bags are extra-specially appreciated.
How does the sale work?
All donated purses will be pre-priced with a set price. Attendees will select the purses they want, then will pay for them with a check, cash or credit card.
How does the “first dibs” thing work?
People who are willing to donate $20 to the Clinic will be allowed in for an hour before the general public, in order to get first pick of the
purses we have for sale.
How does the purse raffle work?
There will be two or three new or vintage purses on display at the event as raffle items. Attendees will deposit raffle tickets in the bin next
to the item they want to win.
How do you get the raffle tickets?
There are 4 ways to acquire raffle tickets
1. Donate a purse for the event. Donors will receive one raffle ticket for each purse donated
2. Pre-register online for attendance during the FREE hours of the event
3. Each attendee who donates $20 for VIP admission will receive one raffle ticket
4. Raffle tickets will be available for sale the day of the event
Do you have to be present in order to win the raffle?
No. Raffle tickets will collect peoples names, phone numbers and addresses and when the winning tickets are drawn at the conclusion of
the event, the winner will be notified.
Are people who attend during the FREE hours of 4 — 7 required to pay anything if they don’t buy a purse?
No. Attendees from 4 to 7 will be given a ticket for a free glass of champagne and may partake of the complimentary munchies. There is no
requirement that they purchase anything. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase, as will tickets for additional glasses of champagne.
What happens to any leftover purses?
They will be donated to Working Wardrobes, an Orange County charity dedicated to helping needy people confidently enter the workforce
through career development and wardrobe services.
